Olivia Cooper recently completed her Master’s in French at the University of Kansas. During her M.A., she served as the Program Assistant for the department’s Paris Summer Language Institute and as Co-Editor of the graduate student-run academic journal, Chimères. Her Master’s Thesis, “‘Ung Espace de Temps’ – The Role of Time in Le Roman de Gillion de Trazegnies” examines representations of time in a Burgundian prose work produced in the era of the mises-en-prose. Olivia’s interests include the evolution of the French language, medieval and Renaissance history and literature, and German language and culture.
